Send a Gift by using Social Media?!

Facebook is launching a new service called "Facebook Gifts" This is where you can send a gift via social media. Want to find out how you would do this?

Step 1. Pick out the perfect gift for the occasion,, add the message you want to appear and its ready to ship- you don't even need to put the address.  There will be many different types of gifts to choose from such as cookies, household items,  t shirts, posters and much more.

Step 2: Your friend will be notified instantly , this is where they will enter their own information for shipping, they can also swap for a different size , flavor or style before the gift ships out to them.  Don't worry, your privacy will be protected when you send over the gift to your friend  You can decide to share this information on their timeline or not to, its completely up to you.

Step 3: Your gift will arrive safe and sound to them withing the next 24 hours, so 3-5 business days.

This service is launching soon and will be an amazing way we can connect via social media with our loved ones, coworkers, distant relatives and long lost friends.

Kate Spade

Kate Spade just opened up her brand new store in Charleston, SC. I'm not sure if you are all aware but Kate Spade is a huge Social Media Star. Her brand has escalated because of her voice on social media. I really enjoy looking at all her different digital media outlets. I follow her on twitter, so if you aren't follow her please do @katespadeny. The company has really showed us how effective it can be to use social media platforms to brand itself. My last semester of my senior year in college, which wasn't too long ago, I wrote a paper and did a pinterest board showing how Kate Spade Voice and Brand Awareness evolved. If you want to learn more about it, check it out on my pinterest page http://pinterest.com/hbriordy/the-brand-and-voice-of-kate-spade/.

This is my first entry to my personal blog. I've always had mixed feelings about blogging. I decided if I want a job in my field then its time to start blogging. I am a recent graduate from Kennesaw State University. I got my bachelors in Communication-Public Relations. This blog is mainly going to concentrate on my journey of searching for my dream job and anything related to my field of study. AP Style is very important in my field of study and I probably should blog in AP Style but at the moment I'm not going to.
